Turning Over A New Leaf

December 30, 2015

A new year is a great time to start with new beginnings. I am going to start some new Wheat Grass in the window, as well as Basil Seedlings in a recycled egg tray. I am rooting cuttings from my Broad Leaf Thyme plant and they are going to be great in this new year.

As with my plants in the window, I am going to try even harder to follow the Phase One Diet, last year was a victory in dropping my 30 year addiction to Diet Pepsi, and as of Jan. 1, 2015 I no longer drink any sugar at all. This year will be eliminating it from my food... we will see how hard that is going to be. At any rate, the recipe's that Doug and the gang have packed into his recipe book are going to take a more active role on my stove... i'll keep you posted!
